KIRKLESS Metropolitan Council has given the go-ahead for Ramsden & Colne Developments’ £175m Waterfront Quarter in Huddersfield.
The scheme along almost a mile of the River Colne and Huddersfield Narrow Canal will have 300,000 sq ft (27,870 sq m) of offices, 460,000 sq ft (42,735 sq m) of residential, a hotel, gym, crèche, cafes and restaurants.
